Elected offices in CFEA include the positions of president, president-elect,
secretary, and treasurer, as well as four director positions. The
persons holding these offices, plus the immediate past president,
compose the board of directors; the president, president-elect,
secretary, and treasurer compose the executive committee.
Each year, a nominations committee appointed by the president is
responsible for evaluating CFEA members willing to serve in elective
office. At CFEA's annual meeting, the committee presents the recommended
slate of officers to the general membership for approval.
A complete description of the laws governing officers and elections
may be found in the
CFEA
Constitution. A complete description of the responsibilities
of the nominating committee may be found here
or within the
CFEA
HANDbook.
