Mid-Year Conference - November 19, 2004, Oxford, OH
CFEA's mid-year conference will be held in Oxford, Ohio, at Phi Delta Theta headquarters November 19, 2004. Registration and more information will be posted soon and will appear in our listserve. We hope to see you there.

Annual Conference - May 11-14, 2005, Kansas City, MO
CFEA's annual conference will be held in Kansas City, Missouri, at the Embasy Suites hotel May 11-14, 2005. Registration and more information will be posted soon and will appear in our listserve as the date draws near.

Sponsors/Associate Members Committee
Publisher’s Press Inc. is a new CFEA sponsor. This is in addition to the numerous sponsors who attended our 2004 Annual Conference in Chicago.  This committee will continue seeking new sponsors for the annual conference in Kansas City next May.  If you work with a vendor that is a potential CFEA sponsor, approach them with this opportunity, or contact committee chair Justin Kirk for assistance.

Public Relations Committee
A new CFEA brochure has been designed by the Public Relations Committee and is being printed and delivered now.  This piece has been on the CFEA “to-do” list for quite some time and is a wonderful addition to our publications display at various association events.  If you need copies of this brochure to help promote CFEA to another organization, please contact committee chair Scott Thompson.

New Members Committee
The New Members Committee is working on their program for the annual conference and will take any donations of left-over promotion items you may have such as cups, pens, mouse pads – anything that might be a fun addition to the new member welcome kits.  Please contact committee chair Phyllis Grissom for details.

Directory Committee
The Directory Committeeis putting the final touches on the printed directory and will mail those to each member organization soon.  As always, an online directory is available.

Information Technology Committee
The Information Technology Committee has updated the online directories. Much more to come on our web site including a redesign in the coming months.

Membership Strategy Committee
Membership Strategy continues to seek organizations who are not currently members of CFEA. If you have any contacts with a non-member group, committee chair Christine Barnicki can assist you in providing them details as to why they should join CFEA.

Awards Committee
The Awards Committee is at work preparing for the 2005 awards. Watch for details by mid-January about applying and deadlines.

Fratermotu Editor
The Fraternity Editor continues to be published and distributed to all CFEA members. If you have any ideas for stories for the newsletter, please contact committee chair Nancy Brewer.

Varner Award
It’s never too early to be thinking about Varner Award nominees, as well as Nominations for the CFEA Board. Nomination forms and information will be available by early 2005.
